The 28th NEAL-NET Technical meeting was successfully held on 10th-11th June, 2021 in Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. Affected by the international epidemic, foreign participants joined this meeting via Video Conference. The Chinese delegation was led by Lin Rong, Deputy Director of the China Transport Telecommunications & Information Center, with representatives from the Ministry of Transport of China, and the NEAL-NET Chinese Secretariat. The Secretary-General of the International Port Community Systems Association (IPCSA) and the chief expert of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Belarus attended the meeting. Shandong Port Technology Group Co., Ltd. and other related enterprise representatives attended the meeting.
At the meeting, representatives of China, Japan and South Korea exchanged information on the progress of NEAL-NET work since September 2020, discussed the opportunities and challenges of NEAL-NET's external cooperation of data sharing, and improved the Sea-Rail multimodal transportation logistics information standard sharing and application methods. The discussion focused on the innovative NEAL-NET data cooperation operation model, and exchanged the opinions with relevant representatives of the IPCSA and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Belarus. Representatives of the China, Japan and South Korea have reached consensus on jointly improving the level of information sharing services, innovating service content, improving international standard construction, and actively expanding international port cooperation, and will exchange the relevant research results at the next meeting.
According to the NEAL-NET cooperative mechanism, the 29th technical meeting will be held in Japan in early 2022.
