The 27th technical conference of NEAL-NET was successfully held

The 27th NEAL-NET Technical meeting was successfully held on September 23rd to 24th, 2020. Affected by the international epidemic, foreign participants joined this meeting via Video Conference. The Chinese delegation was led by Lin Rong, Deputy Director of the China Transport Telecommunications & Information Center, with representatives from the Ministry of Transport of China, and the NEAL-NET Chinese Secretariat. Government representatives and technical experts from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan and the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of South Korea attended the meeting.

At the meeting, representatives of China, Japan and South Korea exchanged the implementation progress of NEAL-NET since January 2020, studied and discussed the improvement and application of multimodal transport and dangerous goods transport information sharing standards, and further discussed the improvement of the logistics information standards sharing and applying on the international transfer. Three parties exchanged the cooperation progress of port information and multimodal transport information sharing with Russia, ASEAN and EU countries.

Under the influence of the epidemic, the importance of timely and effective sharing of international logistics supply chain information has become more and more prominent, bringing new opportunities and challenges to the expansion of NEAL-NET cooperation content. The three parties will continue to deepen and expand the scope of information interconnection, improve the level of information sharing services, innovate service content, and jointly contribute to enhance NEAL-NET's international influence.

According to NEAL-NET cooperative mechanism, the 28th technical meeting will be held in Wenzhou, China in April 2021.
