Since the establishment in 2010, NEAL-NET has received strong support from the transportation departments and members of China, Japan and Korea. The three countries have always maintained close dialogues, discussed logistics information standards, and initially realized the information interconnection among the three countries, thus improving the overall level of logistics information services in Northeast Asia.

At the last technical meeting in Korea, the three countries reached a consensus on the direction of cross-regional cross-transport mode information interconnection expansion in the next step, and will jointly carry out research on rail-sea intermodal transport to deepen the information sharing of multimodal transport.

Thanks to the trust of all members of the three countries, I have been serving as Secretary-General of NEAL-NET since October 2010. Due to the adjustment of my work, I will no longer serve as Secretary-General of NEAL-NET. Thank you for all your support during this period. According to the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Cooperation Mechanism of Northeast Asia Logistics Information Service Network" signed by the three countries, China has appointed Mr. Sun Tengda, General Manager of Data Application Division, China Transport Telecommunications & Information Center (CTTIC), to serve as Secretary-General. I believe that the cooperation among the three countries will be deeper through the joint efforts of all of you.
